The Homestead - In Winter

Here we are in the process of (Tess) de-trimming the tree. Ron's holding an ornament he bought at Mardens for 59 cents. Tess set up and snapped this picture with her new digital camera (bought at Mardens for $39.99). We’re having fun……

Caroline, Janallie and Pinot having fun during their "overnight" with Ron and Tess.

Here's Tess using the land and climate to full advantage. Meanwhile, Ron is inside watching NFL football on TV. But, he's keeping a keen eye on both wood stoves making sure they are periodically stoked up.

Our Maine cotton crop right before harvest.

The house was built in the late 1700's. The present shed and barn were added later.

Built in 1884 and still looking good.
